National History

Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity is a co-educational fraternity open to undergraduate students attending four-year colleges and universities throughout the United States. Our purpose is to bring together some of the brightest and most motivated students on campus and work together in a spirit of excellence to encourage the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and fellowship. We are a unique organization that strives to blend the best attributes of an honor society, a service fraternity, and a social fraternity.

Phi Sigma Pi was founded in 1916 at Central Missouri State University and today has chapters at 103 colleges and universities all over the United States.
